All efforts are being made that Pakistan Cricket Team shall depart in first week of July for its scheduled England tour. This was announced by Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Executive, Waseem Khan. The series will be consisted of three test matches as well as same number of T20Is.
He said, in this context, The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is also working to ensure that the series should take place as scheduled. On part of PCB, he informed that a squad of almost 28 players will be finalized.
After final decision, the Pakistan team will fly to England on a special chartered plane sponsored by ECB to avoid any COVID-19 risk. In addition special preventive measures will be made during matches.
