Engro will donate 100 million in shape of PPE

Engro will donate 459000 units of personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline health workers. PPEs will cost 100 million to the Engro foundation which is a social investment arm of the Engro Corporation.

The foundation has already delivered 104000 units of PPEs to 12 hospitals and medical centres in various cities across Pakistan. It includes face masks, safety gowns, face shields, surgical gloves and intubation boxes.

In this context, Engro is also closely associated with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) for identifying the areas that are in need of urgent support to prevent COVID-19.
