Asim Jofa, the elite fashion designer and the first to voluntarily stitch Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for frontline healthcare staff amid COVID-19, has been acknowledged as an Advisor on PPE quality control in the province of Sindh.
Jofa shared the news through his personal twitter account. According to him he has been given the role by Sindh Minister of Health and Population Welfare, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho.
The designer tweeted, ““Alhamdolillah I have been appointed an advisor for the quality control of PPE by Sindh Minister of health Dr. Azra Pechuho for the whole province. I am thankful for the opportunity & will do my best in fulfilling this task.”
Later on the same platform he also shared the notification dated June 15, 2020.
