All educational institutions will reopen from September 15

Federal Minister for Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture, Shafqat Mahmood, in a press conference, confirmed that all educational institutions including Universities, Colleges and Schools will reopen from September 15 if health situation improves.

He further elaborated that the educational institutions may call their staff before September 15, to ensure their training as well as for cleanliness of premises as per approved procedures.

The Government has also given special permission to Universities that PhD scholars may be allowed to access labs for research related activities by the end of current month or soon after Eid ul Azha.

In addition, Government has also allowed the educational institutions to conduct their exams in July with strict adherence of Standard Operating Procedures.

Situation will be reviewed once again before reopening of the Institutions.
