Nissan introduces its all-new Ariya crossover EV in China

Nissan’s all-new Ariya crossover EV made its China debut at Auto China 2020 today, as the company announced important steps forward for the Nissan NEXT transformation plan in the market, said a news release.

“The Ariya is a fusion of two of Nissan’s strengths: EVs and crossover SUVs. Embodying power and performance in a connected car, it represents the latest in the company’s integrated, cutting-edge Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies.”

“The Ariya is scheduled to go on sale in China in 2021. Together with Nissan’s e-POWER models, it is aimed at unveiling a new era of electrification for Nissan in the Chinese market. Nissan plans to introduce new models and power its lineup in China with more Nissan Intelligent Mobility features. By focusing on its core strengths and customer needs, Nissan will be well positioned to continue its leadership and steady growth in China.”

“Nissan plans to launch seven new models in China by 2022. The company recognizes that Chinese consumers are demanding more from products and technology every day, to enrich their lives in new ways.
