Pakistan out for 239, avoids follow on in first Test

Pakistan scored 239 all out in response to 431 by New Zealand at stumps on 3rd day of first test-match. The skipper Mohammad Rizwan (71) and Faheem Ashraf (91) saved their side from follow on.

Abid Ali (25) was the third highest scorer while rest all the team members easily fell prey to New Zealand bowlers as they contributed just 42 runs as a whole. In addition 10 extras were given by Blackcaps.

Kyle Jamieson snatched three wickets while Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Neil Wagner got two each. Mohammad Rizwan was run out by Santner.

New Zealand will start its second innings on 4th day to add further in its first innings lead of 192 runs.
