New Zealand comfortably won first Test against Pakistan by 101 runs despite Fawad Alam’s century. Excluding Fawad (102), Mohammad Rizwan (60), Azhar Ali (38) and Faheem Ashraf (19), rest all batsmen couldn’t enter in the double figures.

From New Zealand Southee, Boult, Jamieson, Wagner and Santner took two wickets each in the second innings. The blackcaps captain Kane Williamson was declared as player of the match.
