PEC to hold its 17th Engineering Practice Examination

Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is holding 17th Engineering Practice Examination (EPE) for Registered Engineers (REs) to be eligible to apply for the prestigious title of Professional Engineer. The exam will be held simultaneously in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.

As per PEC Act, 1976 (amended up to December 1, 2016), the Professional Engineer has privilege over Registered Engineer in terms of technical sanction authority, design/process certification, and preference for higher levels leading towards international practice.

All those Registered Engineers registered with PEC in April 2005 and thereafter along with 5 years of relevant professional experience since registration with PEC till closing date of application are eligible to apply. The applicants must also have 17 CPD points since 10th July 2010 (Maximum 10 CPD points from work experience).

The candidates who have already appeared in 14th, 15th and/or 16th EPE but could not qualify any part of the exam can also apply to reappear in the not-qualified part.
