UHS not to hold online exams for MBBS and BDS students

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Javed Akram has said that the MBBS and BDS exams for students of UHS will be conducted as per already announced schedule and there will be no online exams.

Pakistan medical students’ action committee headed by Dr. Nouman Wattoo met UHS VC on Friday to discuss the possibility of online exams.

Vice-Chancellor said, online exams are not possible and four months will go to waste in its preparation. Government has already announced the reopening of higher education institutions with effect from February 1, he added.

Professor Javed Akram informed the delegation that exams will be held as per COVID-19 standard operating procedures. 

He stressed that the students’ health and safety is top priority of the University and after theoretical exams students’ action committee will be taken in to confidence for practical exams.
