Zimbabwe won 2nd T20I against Pakistan in Harare and leveled the series 1-1. The host team scored 118 at the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs, in response the whole guest team fell at only 99 runs in 19.5 overs while chasing the easy target. After winning the toss, Pakistan elected to field first.
Tinashe Kamunhukamwe (34), Regis Chakabva (18) and Wesley Madhevere (16) were the highest scorers for their side. 7 extras were also added in the total.
Mohammad Hasnain and Danish Aziz took two wickets each, rest four bowlers got one each and Wellington Masakadza was also run out by Mohammad Hasnain.
From Pakistan side, except the skipper Babar Azam (41), Mohammad Rizwan (13) and Danish Aziz (22) all other batsmen didn’t enter in the double digits.
Luke Jongwe showed his extra ordinary form by sending four batsmen back to pavilion. Ryan Buri snatched two wickets. Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava took one each. Both Danish Aziz and Usman Qadir were run out.
Both teams shall again face each other in their third and final T20I on Sunday.
