An MoU is signed between Remote Sensing, GIS and Climatic Research Lab (RSGCRL), National Center of GIS and Space Applications, Punjab University (PU) and Department of Wildlife and Ecology (DoWE), University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), said a press release.
“The two institutes will collaborate in developing joint research proposals and data sharing, organization of conferences, seminars and workshops, providing mentorship and learning opportunities to the students and young professionals and their involvement through internships and research theses in the fields of Remote Sensing & Geospatial Applications for Ecological Studies, and Climate Change.
“The signature target of the MoU is to develop institutional linkages that will serve as a continuous and consistent support in the execution of all other activities. Dr. Zia ul Haq, Director/Principal Investigator RSGCRL and Dr. Arshad Javid, Chairman DoWE inked the MoU and endorsed by Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar (S.I.), Vice Chancellor, PU and Professor Dr. Nasim Ahmad (S.I.), Vice Chancellor, UVAS.”
